Direct Line Cruises Inc., one of the largest cruise-only travel agencies in the country, is now offering a special sales event to celebrate the return of Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas to Baltimore. For the month of February, in addition to the everyday low prices offered by the agency, consumers that book a cruise on the Grandeur of the Seas will receive free onboard spending credit up to $250, as well as a lucrative coupon book to use onboard . Travel insurance is included for all Grandeur sailings five nights or longer.
Onboard spending credit is per cabin, with the amount determined by the category booked. Consumers that choose an inside or ocean view cabin will receive $100 in onboard spending credit, balcony cabins will receive $150, and suites receive $250 in onboard spending credit. Credits may be used to book spa treatments, purchase items in the gift shop, photographs, drinks at the bar and much more.
Last spring the Grandeur underwent an extensive $48 million bow-to-stern refurbishment. She emerged refreshed and revitalized, now offering amenities similar to those found on Royal Caribbean’s larger ships. Guests sailing on the Grandeur can look forward to new dining venues, technological upgrades and amazing new entertainment on par with the newest builds in the fleet.
“We are very pleased that Royal Caribbean is bringing the recently refurbished Grandeur of the Seas back to Baltimore, and we’re celebrating that with our “Grand” Grandeur of the Seas Sales Event,” said Greg Coiro, C.E.O. of Direct Line Cruises. “It’s exciting to be able to offer those that live in the Mid-Atlantic, a sophisticated and contemporary ship cruising out of their backyard.”
Beginning this spring the Grandeur’s itineraries will alternate between seven-night Bermuda cruises, featuring a two-night call at Kings Wharf, and seven-night Bahamas cruises, calling at Port Canaveral, Fla.; Nassau, Bahamas; and CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas. In autumn, Grandeur of the Seas will alternate between six-night Bermuda and eight-night Canada and New England sailings. The winter season will consist of rotating 10-night sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean as well as eight-night sailings to the Bahamas.
The Direct Line Cruises’ Grandeur of the Seas Sales Event is running from February 1st through February 28th. The agency’s cruise consultants look forward to discussing booking options and itineraries with potential clients. In addition, consumers may book their cruise, day or night, at DirectLineCruises.com and receive full sale amenities.
