This week, the New York Institute of Photography released a new online video explaining the details of how their home-study photography courses work. Prospective students can view the video and learn exactly how the program works to make them a better photographer.

For years, NYIP’s home-study photography courses have successfully trained photographers from all over the world. Students learn the art, technique, and business of photography from the comfort of their own homes. But one question comes up again and again when prospective students call or email the school, “How does it work?”

The video, released on the NYIP website, answers this question head on. It also highlights the benefits of the training program with the New York Institute of Photography, such as the access each student has to a student advisor, who is a real live photographer there to answer questions and help students move through the course.

“We find many students are hesitant to sign up if they’re not familiar with us,” said Chuck DeLaney, NYIP’s director, “and this video can help to allay their concerns by showing them very simply how the entire process will work to help them follow their dreams.”
