Capterra, an online service that connects buyers and sellers of business software, released a new infographic today - The Top 20 Most Popular Membership Management Software Solutions. Wild Apricot, Advanced Solutions International and TMA Resources claimed the top 3 spots, based on Capterra’s popularity index.
The index ranks membership management software providers based 40% on the number of organizations who use the software, 40% on the number of members managed, and 20% on the company’s social presence. The goal of the infographic is to help associations, non-profits and other organizations begin to make sense of the hundreds of software options available.
“Choosing the right software can be a long and complicated process, so a lot of people want to cut corners,” said Capterra President and CEO Michael Ortner. “But you have to resist that urge. Don’t just look at the software your friends use; look at what your organization needs.”
Membership management software helps administrators by helping them to save time and avoid stress. The software helps to more effectively and efficiently communicate with their teams and members, promote events, collect membership dues and more.
This is Capterra’s seventh infographic in it’s ‘Top 20 Most Popular’ series, but it’s the first to use a new dynamic format. The format allows for real time updates so that rankings will change as Capterra researchers discover new data.
“I’m stoked about the new format,” said Ortner. “Technology changes so fast that today’s rankings might not be right six months from now. We’re now working on changing all the past infographics to the dynamic format, too.”
