The Founder Institute (http://www.fi.co), the world’s largest startup accelerator with over 700 graduate companies, announced today that it has officially launched a Spring Semester in Tampa. Through the Founder Institute’s part-time four-month program, existing and prospective founders can launch their dream company with expert training, feedback, and support from experienced startup CEOs - while not being required to quit their day job. The program is open to anybody that is passionate about building a technology company: idea or no idea, full-time job or unemployed, young or old, male or female, experienced in business or straight out of school.
The Tampa Semester will run from March 18 – July 2. The program has attracted more than 40 applicants to date. Founders can save $50 by applying before the February 17 Early Admissions Deadline. Female Fellowships, which grant full scholarships to the best applications submitted by women founders, are also available until February 17. Leading the Founder Institute’s efforts in Tampa are Michael O’Donnell, a tech entrepreneur, angel investor and startup mentor, and John Spence, an author, professional workshop facilitator, and one of the Top One Hundred Business Thought Leaders in America.
