Global Tower Partners (GTP) announced it has promoted Michael (Mike) Belski to Senior Vice President of Leasing and Marketing. He will continue to report directly to GTP’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Alex Gellman.
In his new role, Belski will continue to manage GTP’s regional leasing managers and the marketing department and will remain the driving force in leasing up GTP’s portfolio of existing tower, rooftop, raw land and right-of-way sites.
“The quality of Mike’s dedication to this company is unparalleled. His strong background in tower leasing and development, along with the respect he has earned within the company and the industry, made this an easy decision,” said Gellman. “I couldn’t be more pleased with Mike’s leadership as he was integral to the company’s record-breaking results in 2012.”
Belski joined GTP in 2006 as VP of Leasing and Development after 13 years in the wireless industry, beginning with SBA Communications Corporation. While at SBA, Belski served in various roles including Field Operations Manager, Director of Sales, Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Select Accounts. Prior to SBA, Belski was an Associate Shareholder with Morrison Hershfield Corporation (MHC). While at MHC, Belski was responsible for growing the company's tower engineering services, turnkey tower reinforcing services and core A&E design services within the wireless telecommunication sector.
