Emergency City Makes Improvements to Enhance Customer Shopping Experience

Emergency City has been rolling has several changes to its website to allow customers to enjoy a smoother shopping experience and more information at their fingertips.

Emergency City today announced a number of new features to their retail website, including the inclusion of more information to make the shopping and browsing experience more enjoyable for the customer.

Over the past 6 months, Emergency City has been redesigning and rebranding its look with new higher quality photos of their products allowing the customers to get a better sense for what the products look like before purchasing them. With the new photos the customer gains a better sense for the wiring, design and overall feel of the product. In addition to the increase in photos, many of the products now have videos providing the customer with an opportunity to see what features the products have. These enhancements are just the beginning of the changes.

As customers look beyond the photos and videos, delving into the actual product description and technical specifications, they will notice a change. The majority of products have new, more detailed descriptions, a features section, a technical specifications section and an all new what’s in the box section. All of this information ensures that the customer is getting the information they need to make sure they are purchasing the correct product for the needs.

The organization of the site has also improved with new categories, including a closeout and sales section. In addition, many of the product category sections have been organized by both product type and by name of a particular product series within a specific category.

During the first half of 2013 more new features and enhancements will continue to be released on the Emergency City website, with the emphasis being placed on an improved shopping experience for the customer.
