Lucidchart, the web’s best-loved diagramming app, continues to streamline the diagramming process with their introduction of over 50 new graphic organizer templates.
With teachers clamoring for easy-to-use, customizable templates of all types, Lucidchart’s outreach team decided to create and release a set of popular graphic organizer templates, all of which are now available for education users.
Graphic organizers are used in educational circles to encourage higher-level thinking among students. They can function as a stand-alone activity or as a supplementary tool for activities like practicing vocabulary, charting story development, and reviewing scientific theories. Lucidchart’s new templates includes popular formats like cause and effect charts, fishbone diagrams, venn diagram templates, story maps, cluster charts, flowchart templates, and visual timelines.
Lucidchart’s technology supports a template-rich environment, and allows each user, regardless of educational status, access to ready-made templates for a variety of tasks. These pre-made templates give users the best of both worlds by combining time-saving outlines with inherent flexibility.
To access these templates, users click the ‘Create’ button, then select ‘New Document.’ A task pane will pop up with templates designed for business process modeling, Venn diagrams, mind maps, UML diagrams, and much more. Users can also save custom templates to a Personal or Team folder for future use.
Lucid Software is continuing their efforts to make their flagship product the premier diagramming software solution available anywhere, online or off. Dave Grow, VP of Operations and Strategy at Lucidchart, said, “The templating of diagrams, through both the user community and our team’s own efforts, is a key driver of our success. We’re working hard to make diagramming easier than ever.”
