Grand Estates Auction Company, the leader in luxury real estate auctions in North America and the Caribbean, has expanded and moved its Charlotte headquarters. Recent strong growth in the luxury property auction industry, coupled with the addition of several new employees, necessitated a significant expansion of the home office for the 14-year old company.
The new headquarters, at 2010 South Tryon Street, Suite 1D, Charlotte, NC 28203, is located in Citispace in Southend (at the intersection of South Tryon Street and West Tremont Avenue). The new space is nearly 6,000 square feet and close to home furnishing and interior design shops, restaurants, and the LYNX Blue line (Light Rail).
The refurbished two-story brick and metal clad building in historic Southend has a contemporary floor plan with many private offices and large windows. The new facility is double the square footage of the previous office, and now comfortably incorporates the sales, marketing, administrative, and management operations in one combined space. The new building also has ample space to accommodate future growth.
"We are extremely pleased with this expansion," said Stacy Kirk Reich, president of Grand Estates Auction Company. "Our move to this building provides much needed space for the Grand Estates team and reflects the growth of the luxury real estate auction industry in general,” Reich stated.
“As the real estate market recovers, luxury homeowners across the country are looking for innovative ways to market their properties and determine a fair market value for them,” she stated. “Our clients are motivated sellers who understand that live auctions provide fair market value in its purest and quickest form. Since these auctions are becoming more popular, our business and staff are growing quickly, and our need for more space in the home office is pressing,” stated Reich.
Reich says the move took place over the weekend of February 2nd and all systems were operational in the new headquarters on Monday, February 4th. The company’s phone numbers did NOT change, only the office address.
Grand Estates Auction Company is the leader in the niche market of auctioning luxury real estate, specializing in properties valued at $1.5 million and above throughout North America and the Caribbean. Established in 1999, the company was the first of its kind. The Charlotte-based company also has offices in Atlanta, GA, Naples, FL, Aspen, CO, and Vail, CO.
