A record number of new clients, and a brand new user interface top the list of achievements that made 2012 another banner year for Verian, the leader in universal purchasing and invoice processing systems.
Record Number of New Clients - Verian’s portfolio of new clients has grown at an ever-increasing rate since 2009, and 2012 was no exception.
More new customers chose Verian in 2012 than ever before, coming from diverse industry sectors such as energy, oil and gas, financial services, manufacturing, technology, and non-profit.
Brand New User Interface - Verian launched a new user interface (UI) in 2012 that improves and streamlines the user experience across its entire suite of purchasing and invoice processing software applications.
Enhancements were made to dashboards, navigation, administration screens, shopping processes and carts, requesting and approval, receiving and purchasing, and other areas to make Verian’s software more intuitive and easy to use.
Four New Product Releases - Verian is bringing product to market at an accelerated pace for its clients. The company released four new versions of its purchasing and invoice processing software during 2012.
Version 10.7 delivered a defined integration with Excalibur, a commonly used accounting application in the oil and gas industry. Version 10.8 advanced invoice capture capabilities and provided more robust integration with BOLO, another leading oil and gas accounting system.
Version 11.0 further simplified materials transfers for oil and gas clients, enhanced reporting capabilities, and implemented multiple infrastructure related enhancements. Version 11.1 introduced the new Verian UI.
Verian also made strong headway during the year on Version 11.2, which was released in January 2013, providing a more robust mobile app for faster approval of requisitions on the go.
Enhanced Agile Development Process with SCRUM - Verian continued its evolution in agile software development in 2012, attaining SCRUM Master Certification of its entire R&D team.
