The opportunity will allow us to apply our experience in digital marketing to serve an organization that is critical to the public.

(PRWEB) February 11, 2013

Denver digital agency Elevated Third is pleased to announce a partnership with the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). The Denver-based digital agency will serve as web strategy partner, providing the international organization with a new website featuring updated designs and improved usability for IASLC’s extensive number of resources and global events.

IASLC is the leading international organization dedicated to the study of lung cancer, and its website serves as a hub for international medical practitioners to connect and share information, practices and techniques surrounding lung cancer studies and IASLC events. Founded in 1974, the association's membership includes more than 3,500 lung cancer specialists in 80 countries. The organization’s member base consists of the world’s top lung cancer researchers, and at each of IASLC’s conferences, doctors and researchers from all over the world meet to discuss new developments in treating various cancer types.

In a website redesign, IASLC requires that the site be modernized, and designed to increase membership and drive more traffic to generate revenue, increase event registration and sponsorship. IASLC also requires that the site maintain its status as an educational tool. Currently, IASLC.org stands as a tool for informing members and visitors of developments in lung cancer research on a global scale, and the organization wishes to further extend its resources to increase awareness surrounding its cause.

With a focus on user-centered design, Elevated Third will redesign the IASLC website to be competitive with today’s digital marketing platforms, and will connect IASLC with other organizations within the international medical research industry. The digital agency plans to focus on streamlining the event registration process, as the organization is centered upon sharing research findings through regional events.

Elevated Third welcomes the project with great enthusiasm. “ We anticipate a successful redesign that will be profitable for IASLC,” states Harrison Liss, business development at Elevated Third. “The opportunity will allow us to apply our experience in digital marketing to serve an organization that is critical to the public.”

Expected to launch in late summer of 2013, the new website will be built in open-source content management system Drupal. As IASLC provides its digital users with an array of content on different areas of lung cancer research, Drupal will allow IASLC site administrators to regularly update and interchange content with ease. Elevated Third will also provide SEO services in the IASLC redesign. By focusing on site traffic, IASLC’s digital team will be able to fine tune content that will increase the number of overall site visitors.
