San Diego, CA (PRWEB) February 11, 2013

Parents of young children and others with questions about caring for a young child’s teeth are invited to attend All Smiles Pediatric Dentistry’s presentation, “Speaking of Teeth.” The presentation is in honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month, held every year in February. It will address a variety of different topics, including children’s first dental visits, how to clean and care for children’s teeth and when to begin teeth cleaning.

The program is free of charge to all attendees and will be held in two separate sessions and locations to accommodate a variety of schedules. The first will take place at 10:30 a.m. on February 14 at the Mission Valley Library and the second at 4:00 p.m. on February 27 at the Serra Mesa Library. You do not need to be a patient of All Smiles Pediatric Dentistry to attend; the entire community is invited.

The program is especially designed to help educate parents about dental health and to encourage better dental practices and healthy teeth for all children. One of the primary goals of All Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is promoting good dental habits early in children. Dr. Allen Job and his staff are committed to providing excellent dentistry for children and are very passionate about National Children’s Dental Health Month. Other important topics to be addressed at the presentation include: childhood cavity prevention; proper brushing and flossing techniques; good nutrition for oral health in children; and the first dental visit. While home care is very important, children should also regularly visit the dentist throughout their childhood years.

Dr. Job is excited to be able to share this program with the community in honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month. “Education is the key to prevention when it comes to childhood dental problems. Creating good oral health habits, such as proper care, a balanced diet and regular dental visits at a young age keeps teeth healthy and strong for a lifetime,” says Dr. Job.

Anyone with questions about the program can contact All Smiles Pediatric Dentistry by calling 858-634-0072. Reservations are not needed.
