The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Detroit District, announced recently that Turner Construction Company was chosen to construct a new Border Patrol Station (BPS) in Detroit, Michigan. The new facility includes a 100-agent station, parking garage and canine facility, and parking on approximately 10 acres. Design has begun on the project and construction is scheduled to begin in June 2013. Turner’s design partner on this project is SmithGroupJJR.
