Vandover has published their 2013 Mobility Survey in the Knowledge Center on their website at Vandover.com. The survey targeted mobility professionals in a range of industry roles. The individual organization respondents represented companies from: Chemicals; Healthcare; Financial Services; Banking; Insurance; Food and Beverage Production, Manufacturing, Professional Services; Conglomerate and Real Estate.
The survey looks at industry definitions for a successful relocation, some of the key needs that have been identified within employers and the industry as a whole, and what is holding us back from implementing a strategy for success.
The findings revealed that there are three key metrics around a successful relocation – retention, acceptance and speed of acclimation. Pre-decision need is acknowledged in 93% of corporations, and action is starting to be taken.
