Plymouth Meeting, PA (PRWEB) February 12, 2013
National mortgage lender New Penn Financial announced the appointment of Lisa Schreiber as its new Vice President of Correspondent Lending. A proven leader with over 25 years of success in the mortgage industry, Schreiber will work at the New Penn corporate headquarters in Plymouth Meeting.
Schreiber will oversee New Penn’s correspondent lending team and will be responsible for growing the correspondent business channel in which mortgage bankers -- utilizing New Penn loan products -- originate, write and sell loans to New Penn. New Penn offers Fannie Mae’s DU Refi Plus program and proprietary portfolio products through its Correspondent channel. New Penn’s portfolio products help mortgage bankers originate quality loans which fall outside of conforming guidelines.
Prior to joining New Penn Financial, Schreiber held senior management positions with financial services companies such as Ellie Mae, TMS Funding, NetMore America, American Brokers Conduit and Bank of America. A recognized authority in the mortgage industry, she often speaks at industry conferences and events, and has authored numerous articles for mortgage-related publications.
Jerry Schiano, New Penn Financial CEO, said, “We are pleased to welcome Lisa to the New Penn family. With her in-depth experience in the mortgage industry, ability to lead high performing teams and strong execution skills, she is a perfect fit to build and grow this product line.”
New Penn Financial continues to grow rapidly, and currently employs over 300 people at its Plymouth Meeting headquarters, and over 1,200 nationwide. The company plans to continue hiring for 2013.
