Lyoness America, an international shopping community, today announced that the company will be among the coveted sponsors for the Hollywood Oscar Awards Ceremony after party taking place at the Andaz Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California. The event will raise money to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
“We are elated to be part and support an institution such as the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. For years Lyoness has provided housing, clothing and education for tens of thousands of children in countries around the world through the Lyoness Child and Family Foundation. This opportunity allows us to make an impact here in America as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital has helped children and their families throughout the United States for decades. The research done by this facility has been life saving for thousands of children, and we feel honored to contribute to their future research,” stated Lyoness America CEO, Mario D. Hoffmann.
Director of Marketing and Communications Myrna Y. Vaca further explains, “The Lyoness Child and Family Foundation (CFF) encourages education as the surest course to a better life. And our more than 2.6 million Lyoness Members contribute to that cause with every purchase they make through the Lyoness retail shopping program, because a percentage of Lyoness revenue is committed to social and educational projects for at-risk children worldwide. Our participation with the awards festivities is similar to the goals of the CFF as it allows us to further expand our efforts towards making a difference in the lives of others.”
But in addition to the charitable benefits associated with sponsoring the after party, executives from the Lyoness management office in Miami, Florida will be in attendance as well as Lyoness founder Hubert Freidl, who will be flying in from the Lyoness International corporate office in Graz, Austria. Lyoness will be recognized at the red carpet ceremony and will have a display table at the Oscar Awards after party reception.
“This is our tenth year of doing business internationally, but we are relatively new to North America,” says CEO Mario D. Hoffmann. “However, we have seen enthusiasm growing for the Lyoness Cashback program, especially when people find out that they can continue to shop where they are now shopping, buy gift cards from many of those same merchants through Lyoness, and at the same time save money.”
Lyoness America is a global shopping network with cash back rewards for loyal members. It is active in 41 countries worldwide. Currently, more than 2.6 million members use the Lyoness benefits at 29,000 loyalty merchants worldwide.
