It’s a very comfortable place, they really do make you feel like part of the family.

For a small company that’s just a little over 40 years old, Liberty Coach has a lot of employees who’ve been with the firm for 25 years or more. The latest to join the “Quarter Century Club” is Carol Quinn, longtime office manager at our North Chicago headquarters.
Carol found her way to Liberty back in 1988 through the Konigseders’ other family business, F.K. Foundries, which was a supplier to her previous employer. When that company relocated out of the area, Carol’s foundry rep referred her to Jeanne Konigseder, who interviewed and promptly hired her to do filing and data entry for Liberty Coach. Carol’s been a fixture in the office ever since.
So what leads someone to stay with the same company for 25 years? Carol says a big part of it is the business itself. She finds the prevost motor coach conversion field fascinating, especially from her perspective at Liberty Coach, the undisputed “Rolls Royce” of the industry. (Coincidentally, Carol is a native of Crewe, England, the longtime home of Rolls Royce Motor Cars.)
But for Carol, like so many others, it is the close-knit atmosphere of the “Liberty Coach family” that makes it such a great place to work – and stay. “It’s a very comfortable place,” she says. “They really do make you feel like part of the family.”
