Mobile devices achieve higher click through rates than desktops when it comes to UK paid search ads. The study carried out by Marin Software compared smartphones with tablets and desktops focusing on their Click Through Rates (CTR) in the UK and in the Eurozone. The findings showed that UK smartphones achieved the highest CTR at 5.97 percent, followed by tablets 3.93 percent and 2.29 on desktop computers. The results were also similar in the Eurozone, although with less difference, CTR rate for smartphones was 4.78 percent, 4.48 percent on tablet and 3.1 percent on desktop.
