Today in Boat of Garten, Inverness-shire Scot Mountain Holidays directors Andy Bateman and Rebecca Field announced the launch of Scot Mountain Holidays, which is the new name for their successful business and provides home stay adventure holidays to individuals, couples and families.

Guests stay in their family home. All food is home prepared with guests being welcomed back from their wild adventures with home baked cakes and tea and followed by a home prepared evening meal where Rebecca sources most of the ingredients from her own garden or locally. "The homestay market is being recognised as an affordable way to intimately experience an area. We can now really define the direction we are going in with our focus remaining on providing a home stay style experience for all our customers coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the mountains and local natural environment."

The new website http://www.scotmountainholidays.com has been developed to make it easy for guests to find the right trip with a new grading system for each trip from easy to extreme and an online booking system that will keep the guest informed in the run up to their trip. Scot Mountain Holidays pride themselves on their departure guarantee: once a booking has been accepted they guarantee the holiday will run no matter how many people are booked on.
