Vector Software, the leading provider of dynamic software testing solutions for embedded systems, announced the release of VectorCAST version 6.1. VectorCAST 6.1 includes major improvements in data aggregation, reporting, usability, and full lifecycle support.

VectorCAST 6.1 Features and Enhancements:

• Improved Data Aggregation – Easier aggregation of code coverage data across all test runs, in all phases of testing (system, integration and unit testing); including trend analysis of coverage metrics over time
• GUI Enhancements – New user interface features such as “undocking windows” to support multi-monitor usage, single click filtering of test cases, improved option editing and filtering, and a new unit test dashboard
• Expanded Functionality – Enhanced capabilities to support advanced testing requirements such as testing abstract classes, MC/DC masking, stubbing of inline and library functions, and block code coverage analysis for resource-constrained targets
