Palm Springs, CA (PRWEB) February 19, 2013
Integrated Wealth Management Fashion Week El Paseo features nine days of runway and trunk shows, after-parties, meet and greets and events, and an expected attendance of 14,000, making this the largest consumer fashion event on the West coast.
The eighth annual Fashion Week El Paseo unfolds March 15 – 23, 2013, under the Big White Tent on Larkspur Lane between El Paseo and Shadow Mountain in Palm Desert, California -- the heart of Palm Desert's most celebrated shopping district: El Paseo.
Fashion Week El Paseo will present nine runway shows and four trunk shows by over 50 top and emerging designers. This year’s headlining designers include Katherine Polk, Sue Wong, Victor Tung, and “Designer of the Week”, Gilbert Chagoury.
And returning again this year is Palm Springs’ own and former Project Runway All-Star runner up, Michael Costello who will share the runway with 11 other Project Runway All-Star contestants for “The Drama and Designs of Project Runway.”
"I have always felt that the consumer has been cheated when it comes to seeing the excitement and fun of the fashion world. They are asked to buy, but miss out on the unique parts of the process such as the creativity and showmanship,” says Palm Springs Life Fashion Editor, Susan Stein - co-producer of Fashion Week El Paseo. “Fashion Week El Paseo presents a cross section of all categories of the best of the West and creates a week that entertains and educates, while premiering the latest fashion from high caliber designers. We are very proud of our growth during the past eight years and thrilled that it's become the most anticipated week of the year."
Fashion Week El Paseo will benefit over 30 local and regional charities to include Fashion Group International, Inc., The Girlfriend Factor, The Living Desert and Junior League of Palm Springs Desert Communities.
