Communications between Conservatory Outlet and its extensive UK-wide network of dealers are to be enhanced after the Wakefield firm announced the implementation of a brand new SMS text messaging service.
Utilising their own in-house bespoke business management software CO2, Conservatory Outlet now have the capacity to send SMS text messages to dealers throughout the country containing vital information regarding forthcoming deliveries of conservatories, double glazing windows, doors and anything else within their growing range of products.
Sent the day before any scheduled delivery to individuals working within the store departments of dealers, text recipients will be supplied with important details such as the estimated time of arrival and the relevant driver’s name and contact details.
The purpose of which is to provide store workers with a useful reminder of any upcoming delivery so that they can adequately prepare for the receipt of any double glazing goods. It also guarantees a smooth and efficient delivery process, each and every time.
This is the first in a series of new working practices for Conservatory Outlet in 2013 and is the brainchild of recently appointed IT Manager Phil Wilson who assumed his newly promoted position early last month.
Phil is firmly committed to continuously developing CO2; one of his key remits upon assuming the role.
