Houston, TX (PRWEB) February 20, 2013

Stone & Glazing Consulting, LLC, acting under the direction of the Mercer Condominium Homeowners association, put the Mercer Condo Tower remediation project out for a competitive bid to contractors with the requisite skill set and proven experience. As a valued, specialty contractor, American Restoration, LLC (AR) has been chosen to fulfill the role.

The Mercer Condo Tower, a 30-story condominium complex built in 2003 located in the Uptown/River Oaks area of Houston, has experienced water infiltration issues and concerns with the exterior insulation and finishing system.

Stone & Glazing Consulting, LLC, a respected advocate for property owners and building management, created a scope of work for AR outlining the various repairs required to resolve the water intrusion issues and mitigate further damage in the complex.

“Speaking for everyone involved in this project, we are excited to be under way on the remediation with AR and look forward to another successful project and closure for all of the homeowners who have patiently endured this process,” said Mark Mathson, CPE, General Manager at SGC. “AR has completed many successful projects for SGC in the past and continues to perform with the highest level of professionalism and quality.”

With extensive experience in building restoration and providing exterior remedial repairs of all types along with quality control and professionalism, AR is expecting to exceed the expectations of this project. AR will be utilizing the latest remediation solutions along with materials that will provide protection for years to come.

“The Mercer project presents some unique challenges to be successful. Aside from finite adherence to manufactures’ specifications, an occupied structure requires open communication between the project team and the tenants. We want quality work, minimal disruption and a professional work site. We want The Mercer board and its tenants confident they made the right choice in American Restoration, as a waterproofing contractor,” said Jim Teters, Director of Production Control at AR.
