MindFireInc® today announced it is working with HP to enable printers to create marketing automation workflows that seamlessly incorporate digital channels and direct mail print pieces.
The new integration between MindFire Studio marketing automation platform and HP SmartStream software allows print service providers to leverage their customers’ spending on digital channels like email, mobile and social media marketing, while harnessing the power of digital printing. Until now, producing and delivering high volumes of short run print for marketing automation campaigns was difficult.
“Marketers are rapidly adopting marketing automation technology to optimize their lead generation and nurturing campaigns,” said David Rosendahl, MindFireInc’s co-founder. “While most marketing automation campaigns utilize digital channels like email, mobile and social media, print is sometimes underutilized because of workflow complexities. Through MindFireInc’s collaboration with HP, generating a triggered print piece is just as easy as a triggered email or text message,” he added.
The integration between MindFire Studio marketing automation platform and HP SmartStream Composer helps users to create and customize a direct mail piece within MindFire Studio. It is then sent directly to print through HP SmartStream Composer for rendering followed by either HP SmartStream Production Center or HP SmartStream Production Pro for print production. This integration eliminates the need to export data files, QR code images and other required assets and increases print production efficiencies.
“As customers are increasingly trying to deliver a higher return on investment, there is a need to simplify processes and streamline workflows as much as possible,” said Gershon Alon, Workflow Solutions manager, Indigo Division, HP. “The MindFire Studio integration into the HP SmartStream solutions suite helps HP Indigo users take advantage of increased marketing automation services demand while increasing production efficiencies.”
