The Fleetwood Mac faithful have been waiting patiently for this for over four years.
Now, the iconic 60’s band appears to be headed back out on the road again, much to the delight of millions of dedicated fans around the world.
After months of speculation, Fleetwood Mac has confirmed dates, cities and venues for a nine-week Fleetwood Mac Live 2013 tour beginning April 4, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio and wrapping on June 12 in Detroit, Michigan.
Initially the group booked 34 dates. But due to intense demand, they added another 13 dates from mid-June through early-July, including a previously-announced headlining stint at JazzFest.
The added dates start June 14 in Chicago. The band will then hit cities missed during the first go-around, including Cleveland, Ohio; Charlotte, North Carolina; Des Moines, Iowa; Portland, Oregon; Wantagh, New York; Spokane, Washington; Sacramento, California; Albany, New York; and Montreal, Canada.
“Search traffic for Fleetwood Mac tickets is flying as the group’s tour nears,” said Felina Martinez at online ticket marketplace BuyAnySeat.com.
“While many of the upcoming concerts are starting to fill up, we’re proud to still be able to offer fans a big selection of tickets, with a worry-free guarantee to protect their purchase,” said Martinez.

Fleetwood Mac Live 2013 is the band's first tour since 2009. While not promoting a new album, the road trip comes on the heels of the massive reissue of their 1977 classic album Rumours, which includes previously-unreleased live and studio material, and a DVD of the 1977 documentary The Rosebud Film. The band is also rumored to have recently cut two new songs that may make it onto the tour’s playlist.
The group began rehearing for the tour on February 15, and has indicated a desire to take their latest road show worldwide, with both festival and regular concerts in Europe and a 15-city Australian visit planned after the North American dates.
There’s no indication that songstress Christine McVie, who retired in 1998, will rejoin her former band-mates. But at this time, it is believed that the rest of the ‘Rumours’-era lineup – including Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood – will show.
Both Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham released solo albums and toured last year. The band itself hasn’t released an album since 2003, but for fans, there is always hope.
