St. Patrick’s Day Spa Specials at Sandava Spa
Throughout the month of March, the resort’s eco-coastal Sandava Spa will be “going green” in more ways than one. With the Cucumber Mind-Body Scrub, spa patrons will be painted green from head to toe. Perfect for guests looking to be refreshed and rejuvenated, this organic sugar scrub will be specially priced at $99 (regularly $130) all month long. For those looking to bring the party into the spa, the Buttered Rum Scrub starts with a shea sugar and rum-infused body scrub and finishes with a Goombay Smash cocktail, featuring four flavored rums, fresh lime, pineapple juice and orange juice, all topped off with a Grenadine float. Easter Brunch at SHOR American Seafood Grill
The expert culinary team at SHOR American Seafood Grill will “spring” into action this Easter with an eggs-traordinary, family-friendly buffet. The Easter Bunny himself will be on hand, greeting diners and posing for memorable pictures. Served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 31, 2013, SHOR’s bountiful brunch will feature breathtaking Gulf views and an array of menu items. Breakfast favorites will include eggs Benedict, pancakes and yogurt with granola and fresh berries. Featured hors d’oeuvres will include ahi tuna ceviche, roasted local watermelon and cucumber gazpacho and smoked duck with rosemary aioli on a crispy crouton. Specialty salads will include the spinach and pomegranate salad with walnuts and feta, Caesar salad with olive oil-fried pretzel croutons and the grilled watermelon and Mache salad with black pepper vinaigrette. A charcuterie station will offer handcrafted cheeses with lavosh and baguettes, a selection of artisan-cured meats, including garlic-cured salami, air-dried beef and soppressata. Action stations will offer Key West pink shrimp, natural chicken breast with local arugula, a risotto station, a carved 1855 strip loin with SHOR’s signature pretzel rolls and chive horseradish cream sauce and spicy Italian sausage-stuffed all-natural pork loin with roasted heirloom apple compote. Of course, no SHOR buffet would be complete without a seafood station of jumbo Gulf shrimp, cold water oysters, cocktail crab claws, chilled and garlic mussels or the resort’s signature Bloody Mary and mimosa bar. Last but not least, a decadent dessert display will feature blackberry cheesecake, spiced pears with vanilla bean bread pudding and flourless chocolate cake, just to name a few.

Clearwater Beach Pre-Easter Activities
Resort guests looking to extend their family time together during Easter weekend will have an array of activities to choose from, ranging from egg hunts for all ages, egg decorating, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and more. Easter baskets hand-delivered to guests’ suites by the Easter Bunny will also be available for $30 per basket.

Frenchy’s Sugar Sand Festival Presented by Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach
Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach is proud to present the inaugural Frenchy’s Sugar Sand Festival. The ten-day event, taking place Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 28, 2013, will showcase the destination’s world-renowned and award-winning beaches with a 1,000-ton Sugar Sand Walk Exhibition, an artistic walk-through display in a 14,000-square-foot tent, which will be accessible to visitors and the local public for a small admission fee. No-cost event highlights will include Frenchy’s Master Sand Sculpting Competition, sand-sculpting clinics, speed sand demonstrations and Camp Hyatt Sandbox, a 40-foot-by-15-foot, fenced-in children’s play area sponsored by the resort.

Throughout the 10-day event, the resort will have several food and beverage promotions. The resort’s featured Sugar Sand signature drink, the Cool & Refreshing Gulf Coast Orange Crush, will be served all day for $3 per drink at both Skimmers Bar and Swim Bar. Swim will also offer Sugar Sand sunset happy hour specials; starting a half hour before sunset and running until a half hour after sunset, Swim’s sunset happy hour will include two-for-one classic margaritas, sangria and draft beers.

From 11 a.m. through 10 p.m. all week long, festivals goers can enjoy a 20 percent discount off of any food order from the lunch and dinner menus at SHOR and Skimmer’s Lounge by presenting a receipt or wrist band from the event. Families who buy one entrée from Hyatt’s new “For Kids, By Kids” menu will also receive a second children’s menu item free. Lastly for those craving something sweet to end their meal, Sugar Sand Doughnut Bites will be available at both SHOR and Skimmer’s.
