Practice Greenhealth’s Carrie Abernathy honored by Association TRENDS; named Young & Aspiring Association Professional
Practice Greenhealth is proud to announce that Carrie Meadows Abernathy, CMP, CEM, Director of Education, Training & Events, was named Young & Aspiring Association Professional by Association TRENDS. The Young & Aspiring Association Professional Award honors association executives, 40 or younger with at least five years association experience, who show great promise and commitment to pursuing excellence.
Abernathy’s recent accomplishments include being elected onto the board of trustees for the Green Meeting Industry Council Foundation, underscoring her passion for planning sustainable meetings. She also presented as a subject matter expert at the Professional Convention Management Association’s Convening Leaders 2012 conference in San Diego, and speaks on the circuit for MPI and International Association of Exhibitions and Events as a subject matter expert in the field of personal branding for young professionals.
“I am honored to accept this award and be included in such an esteemed group of professionals,” said Abernathy. “I look forward to continuing my personal and professional growth in the association sector.”
