Hoboken, NJ (PRWEB) February 22, 2013
The National Society of Leadership and Success announced today that Brad Meltzer, New York Times bestselling author and host of The History Channel’s Brad Meltzer’s Decoded, is participating in a broadcast event. The event, entitled How to Write Your Own Obituary, will take place on February 26, 2013, and will be streamed live over the Web from Texas A&M University, Commerce, TX.
When a Wall Street Journal reporter told Meltzer that one of his charitable acts would be included in his obituary, it sent him on a quest to find out what else might be there. In his presentation, he’ll share his funny, inspiring and always entertaining life’s story that will never let one look at their life the same way again. Further, Meltzer will share his ideas on how individuals can control the ways they will be remembered after death.
Meltzer will ask the audience to think of who will remember them, because that leads to how they will be remembered. He will highlight the legacies in life anyone can leave, and will give viewers the opportunity to ponder the positive impact they can have on others. Finally, he will give some poignant examples of how ordinary people can change the world, something in which he believes strongly.
Meltzer is the author of the New York Times bestseller “The Inner Circle,” as well as six other bestselling thrillers. His newest New York Times bestselling novel is “The Fifth Assassin,” which is about a serial killer meticulously recreating the crimes of the four presidential assassins. He has also authored the non-fiction bestsellers “Heroes for My Son” and “Heroes for My Daughter.”
How to Write Your Own Obituary is the fifth installment of the 2012-2013 multi-speaker series sponsored by the Society. The Society speaker series, which reaches more than 350 college campuses and 250,000 students each month during the academic year, is designed to support The National Society of Leadership and Success’s overall mission of building leaders who make a better world.
