Alabama Businesses get Good News: Many are Eligible to get Thousands of Dollars from the BP Oil Spill Settlement - This Includes Any Type of Business Anywhere in the State

Any Alabama business located anywhere in Alabama may be eligible to collect money from the BP oil spill settlement, say two Birmingham law firms in a video posted on a new BP Settlement Help website launched today.. "If your business had a decline in revenues in 2010, you should check to see if your business is eligible to collect money from BP," says attorney J. Gusty Yearout. "Many businesses will be able to collect large sums of money.”

Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) February 25, 2013

The recently approved BP oil spill settlement has a pleasant surprise for many Alabama business owners: they may be eligible to collect thousands of dollars from the BP Deepwater Horizon settlement fund. That is the message on a new BP Settlement Help website launched today by the Birmingham law firms of Yearout and Traylor, P.C. and Gathings Law.

The law firms have teamed up to represent Alabama businesses statewide. They are providing free evaluations of BP business claims for any Alabama business. "One way to obtain a free evaluation of your BP claim is to use the Free BP Claims Evaluation Form on our website," Yearout said. "Another way to find out about your potential BP claim is to call us toll free at (877) 803-3006 or (855) 348-7529. "

"Some business executives have asked us if their business has to involve the Gulf, the tourist industry, or the seafood industry in order to obtain a recovery against BP for its oil spill. The answer is no," said Gathings.

Yearout and Gathings have also posted a YouTube video explaining how Alabama businesses may collect money from the BP Settlement.

"It doesn't matter if your business is in North Alabama. It makes no difference what type of business you're in. It doesn't matter if you doubt that the oil spill caused your financial problems. The settlement is structured broadly to help any Alabama business which may have been hurt by the oil spill. Generally speaking, if your business revenues decreased 15% or more during 3 consecutive months between May and December 2010, and your revenues increased 10% or more during the same 3 months in 2011, you may be eligible to be paid," said Yearout.
