Head Over Heels Athletic Arts in Emeryville is accepting applications for its recently announced revamped scholarship program. Head Over Heels will be accepting applications for scholarships for their recreational gymnastics camp through the end of April. The last day to submit an application will be Tuesday, April 30 by 5 p.m.
Since the inception of Head Over Heels Athletic Arts' scholarship fund over 10 years ago, hundreds of underprivileged youth have participated in their year-round gymnastics classes and camps. Tax-deductible donations from families, friends and local businesses during the annual campaigns have raised as much as $25,000. This funding goes towards the annual tuition for as many as 75 children and allows Head Over Heels to offer discounted rates for local school groups with budgetary constraints.

Head Over Heels is a non-profit athletic arts facility that serves over 1,500 students in each of their 10-week sessions. They provide classes, camps and special activities year-round to people of all ages, but primarily for children ages 1-18 years old. Each year, Head Over Heels serves hundreds of children through partnerships with several local youth groups and school districts throughout the Bay Area.
