PracticeQuiz.com continues to expand its free academic exam preparation offerings. Today, the less than year old test preparation website announced that it has added a new question set for the ACT Math and English.
"We are very excited to be able to add ACT to our academic test prep offerings," remarks Ted Chan, founder of PracticeQuiz.com, "College admissions is so competitive right now. It is vital that students understand their testing options and be well prepared for whichever of the SAT or ACT they choose to take.”
The ACT is a popular alternative to the SAT. It is a standardized test used to demonstrate academic achievement of high school students to colleges during the admission process. The ACT is accepted by all four-year colleges and in 2011 more students elected to take the ACT rather than the SAT.
The ACT has four multiple choice sections and one option written sections. The multiple choice portion is two hours and fifty-five minutes long and contains the following sections:
English (75 questions, 45 minutes)
Mathematics (60 questions, 60 minutes)
Reading (40 questions, 35 minutes)
Science (40 questions, 35 minutes)
PracticeQuiz.com has added 60 review questions for the ACT Math and English. Each practice question is originally written to simulate the exam format and is paired with an explanatory answer to help the user expand their academic knowledge and provide test takers with a gist of what exam content to expect on test day.
PracticeQuiz.com is an online test preparation enterprise based in Boston. The website's social mission is to increase access to education by providing high-quality test preparation content for free.
