This year, Toyota Green Initiative is expanding its consumer experience to include the renowned green and sustainable personal care and cosmetics. The program will offer fans the opportunity to learn about several aspects of sustainability through on-site activities, displays and panel discussions. Lotus Moon and Plain Jane Beauty will host natural and organic skin care and makeup workshops at the Toyota Fan Experience during this year’s CIAA Tournament in Charlotte, N.C., Friday, March 1st through Sunday, March 3rd.
“The addition of Lotus Moon and Plain Jane Beauty gives an important dimension to the Toyota Green Initiative program,” said Lotus Moon and Plain Jane Beauty creator Lake Louise. “It will expose college students to healthier and more environmentally-friendly alternatives when it comes to beauty, grooming and physical well-being.”
During the workshops, Louise will provide a bevy of beauty advice and application tips as consumers enjoy complimentary all-natural beauty makeovers done by local cosmetology school students, an element of the brands’ community outreach.
“As a former high school teacher and university professor, I am thrilled with the opportunity to speak to college students about ways to take better care of themselves while at the same time, taking care of the environment around us,” said Louise.
