On March 4, 2013, My Positive Perspective aired an episode with life, relationship, and business coach Glenn Cohen. The episode was designed to enlighten people on exactly how Cohen can improve the lives of others. During the episode, My Positive Perspective host Jason Deierlein asked Cohen what gave him the idea to become a “Self-improvement” coach and to become the founder of I & We Coaching. Cohen replied to Deierlein’s question saying, “Several years ago, I noticed myself making a slew of choices that were not right for me. I started listening to other mentors and looked to them to assist me. After learning a great deal from them, I wanted to use what I had learned and incorporate it into my own life. After having received this help, I wanted to take my experience and share it with others so I could help.”

My Positive Perspective host Jason Deierlein then continued on this point adding that, “It is almost human nature to want to take our own negative experiences that take place in life and use that to educate and hopefully motivate others.” Cohen agreed with this statement adding that “I used several different well known motivators to help me come up with the bases of I & We Coaching. There are many different types of relationships we have to correctly manage in life. It is hard for us to correctly manage each relationship.” Cohen concluded the interview saying, “Because each different relationship requires different skill sets to manage it can be difficult managing every one of them. However, it is important that we all learn how to do this because it is how we achieve happiness throughout our lives.”

My Positive Perspective is a media outlet believing that improvement in our community will be best achieved by focusing on the good things happening in our world today. Having survived a near fatal car accident when I was a teenager has forced me to have a mentality of always concentrating on the brighter sides of things. This was true, and in my book, Return From a Comatose Mind, this belief was put to the test. Appreciation for life was the biggest thing I took away from my brush with death, and it is because of that that I have such a huge desire to be helpful to many. My Positive Perspective is my way of dealing with problems that may be affecting me.
