Mon.ki releases two productivity extensions that make life online more convenient. The first, mon.ki People Extension for Chrome eliminates the need to copy and paste contact info between accounts and networks. The second, mon.ki Twitter Extension for Chrome, brings enhanced Twitter functionality to every page on the web.
The mon.ki People Extension for Chrome allows users to consolidate contacts from multiple social networks and address books and then access them from anywhere online. The user’s contacts are available on any web page. Integrations with online email systems including Gmail, Yahoo Mail and Hotmail deliver contact info directly to the to, cc and bcc fields in email as the user types. Users of CRM systems including Salesforce.com and Do.com also enjoy a valuable, seamless integration with the mon.ki People Extension for Chrome. The Silicon Valley crowd benefits from integrations with sites like CrunchBase, AngelList, and VentureBeat.
The mon.ki Twitter Extension for Chrome brings Twitter to every webpage. In addition to access to many of Twitter’s main functions, the extension also shows the user people they know who tweeted about the page they are viewing, tweets from others about the current page, and lets users Tweet a page with a shortened link and custom signature – all without having to navigate away. Access to mentions and the user’s timeline round out the list of useful features found in the extension.
The release of the extensions is another important step toward the company’s goal of helping users find better information, products, and services with the help of their friends.
