Miami, FL (PRWEB) March 06, 2013

KnowledgeAdvisors today kicked off its 11th Annual Analytics Symposium with the theme “Measuring Strategic Programs for Impact and Value.” This year’s Symposium is being held at the InterContinental Miami, from March 6-8, 2013.

“Over the least few years, we’ve seen an exciting level of growth in interest in using analytics to help organizations improve performance. Based on the record number of attendees at this year’s Symposium, that trend seems to be continuing,” said Kent Barnett, Founder and CEO of KnowledgeAdvisors.

The 2013 Analytics Symposium is the nation’s premier annual event for training and development professionals, bringing together organizations striving to successfully measure strategic, visible and costly programs like Leadership Development and Onboarding.

This year’s event will feature speakers from leading learning organizations within General Mills, Cisco, Motorola Solutions, McDonald’s, Bersin by Deloitte, ROI Institute, and many more.

Sponsors include Aon Hewitt, Learning and Performance Institute, ROI Institute, GP Strategies, Bersin by Deloitte, Global Knowledge, Silk Road, IBM, eCornell, Kirkpatrick Partners, AchieveGlobal, Ontuitive, Skillsoft, Institute for Corporate Productivity, and the Center for Talent Reporting.

Attendees to Symposium will be able to:

  •     Listen to creative insights from General Mills’ CLO in positioning strategic programs with senior leaders through metrics.
  •     Learn from a Motorola Solutions senior learning executive as she discusses how her organization approaches the measurement of its most critical learning initiatives.
  •     Hear McDonald’s learning leadership talk about measuring the General Manager Program. Learn the strategy and tactics behind measuring this strategic learning.
  •     Check in with learning industry expert Josh Bersin as he provides a research-based update on what is happening with metrics in the L&D profession.

Symposium attendees will also be treated to a preview of the new Metrics that Matter® Talent Analytics Suite, a collection of analytical tools (slated for formal release in June) that are designed to help drive improvement for organizations in onboarding, learning, leadership development, capability development, employee engagement and performance.

“KnowledgeAdvisors has staked out a strong leadership position in the market for learning analytics, but many of our clients are interested in applying the same world-class analytics across the entire employee life cycle. We’re excited to provide a sneak peek into how Metrics that Matter® will help address those crucial needs for our clients in the coming months,” said Barnett.
