File extension FDB is a data file type which is related to Extensis Portfolio and Art Explosion. This type of data file can store catalog elements, metadata, structured data, and other components, which are used to organize information.

File extension FIL is part of dBASE and contains data which defines the structure of a database. The data contains objects and elements which are used to organize information in a database format.

File extension FLP is a file that contains flipchart elements used to create a lesson plan with Promethean programs. FLP files can also store data which is used to create a project with Macromedia Flash.

File extension FRO is related to dBASE and stores reports containing data which is generated using the dBASE database management application. ACL Desktop is a program that provides audit and risk management solutions to identify and mitigate risk, improve operational performance, and protect company profits. ACL Desktop is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X.

ActivPrimary: Promethean ActivPrimary is a software application which provides a way to create a professional flipchart presentation that can be used with interactive whiteboards. ActivPrimary will open file extension FLP and can be used with ActivStudio or ActivInspire software applications. All three applications are available as an unpaid download on the Promethean Planet website. ActivPrimary, ActivStudio, and ActivInspire are multiplatform and compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and the Linux operating system.

Flash Professional CS6: Adobe Flash Professional which is part of the CS6 Creative Suite of applications is a professional program which will open and edit file extension FLP. Flash Professional can be obtained as a trial on the Adobe website and is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X.
