Avanquest Recommends Types of Software to Open FLA, GED, and LUA Files

File extension FLA, GED, and LUA are associated with a variety of different file types, one of which is a developer file type. Taking into account that developer files can be related to mobile apps, Internet applications, PC programs, and more, Avanquest recently published recommendations on the main types of software to open FLA, GED, and LUA files.

File extension FLA is a developer file, which is designed to be used with Adobe Flash and typically contains a movie or animation project created with the Adobe Flash program. Flash is commonly used with interactive Internet multimedia applications which are delivered using Adobe Flash Player.

File extension GED is a developer file which is created using Game Editor and contains source code, settings, and other elements that are necessary for running a digital game. GED files are used by gaming developers to save games have been built using the Game Editor program.

File extension LUA is a source code file which is used to customize video gaming applications. Lua is defined as a programming language that is used by developers to extend the capabilities of gaming applications. If LUA files are compiled using a compiler program, the files are not in a plain text format where other LUA files can be saved in a plain text ASCII format.

File Extension FLA, GED, and LUA Software

There is a variety of different software applications that will open file extension FLA, GED, and LUA. Depending on the type of developer file, the file can often be opened using any text-editing program, such as Notepad or WordPad for Windows, Apple TextEdit for Mac, or gEdit, GNU Emac, and Nano Editor for Linux. C and C++ Compiler: GNU Project C and C++ Compiler will open file extension LUA and provides programming tools for C, C++, Objective-C, FORTRAN, Java, Ada, and Go, in addition to a series of libraries for other programming languages. The C and C++ Compiler are open source and part of the GNU Project and can be obtained on the GNU.org website. C and C++ Compiler are designed for use with Windows, Mac OS X, and the Linux operating system.

World of Warcraft AddOn: File extension LUA can be opened using the World of Warcraft Interface AddOn Kit which is a developer application for extending the capabilities of the World of Warcraft game. The World of Warcraft or “WoW” Interface AddOn Kit is available in several different languages on the Blizzard Entertainment website and is compatible with the Windows operating system and Mac OS X.

Angry Birds: Rovio Entertainment Angry Birds is a gaming application which will open file extension LUA. Angry Birds is available as a paid download in the Mac App Store and is compatible with Mac OS X, iPhone and the iPad.
