After conducting a nationwide executive search led by healthcare leadership solutions firm B. E. Smith, John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., has hired Jessica Rivas as Chief Nursing Officer. A seasoned healthcare executive, Rivas will assume her new duties on March 11th.

Prior to joining John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital, Rivas served as Chief Nursing Officer for Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance in Torrance, Calif. She also served as Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer at Mercy Medical Center Merced in Merced, Calif.

Rivas is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and American Nurses’ Association. She is also certified as a nurse executive from AONE with her CENP and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) with her NEA-BC.
