TrueLook, a leading provider of social webcam systems, today announces significant year over year growth fueled by product innovations and increased brand recognition. The company saw a 259 percent increase in new bookings, led by strong sales of TrueLook’s construction time-lapse cameras. This was a record breaking year and demonstrated the strong market position of TrueLook among professional webcam providers.

TrueLook’s large foundation of repeat customers continues to prove the company’s exceptional value and dedication to customer satisfaction. In 2012, AM Resorts increased its network of webcams by 35 percent for their luxurious resort properties. This also marked the 10th consecutive year hosting webcams for The Chicago Auto Show, the nation’s largest and longest running auto show.

A significant amount of TrueLook’s growth came from new clients in the construction industry. TrueLook has stood out among construction webcam providers, with a fully featured product offered at a highly competitive price. TrueLook is one of very few providers to offer a true pan-tilt-zoom camera, a feature by which users can optically zoom nearly a mile away with no loss in image quality.

Yearly Highlights

Improved Hardware – TrueLook introduced new HD webcam options in 2012, including ultra crisp five megapixel cameras. The new cameras provide much sharper images and capture more light, resulting in higher quality images both day and night. The company also greatly improved its solar power solutions for green projects and remote jobsites.

New Partnerships – TrueLook added Verizon Wireless to its list of 3G connectivity providers. This gives clients more options and much greater coverage for wireless webcams.

Interface Upgrades – New features were added for improved time-lapse playback, full screen mode, camera descriptions, streaming video capabilities, and more.

New Software – The company launched its official mobile application, allowing clients to view and control their webcams with any iOS or Android device. The mobile app lets construction managers monitor their jobsites and view time-lapses while on-the-go.
