Apcera, the next-generation cloud platform company, has named Mark Coffman as the company’s Vice President of Business Development and Sales. He will report to Derek Collison, CEO of Apcera. “We are still early in the transition to cloud computing. There is a significant opportunity for next-generation technologies to address these challenges and help enterprises realize the benefits of this new model by accelerating innovation. I’m honored to be joining such an accomplished team and bring Apcera’s offering to market,” said Mark.
Mark brings more than 20 years of enterprise sales experience and operational leadership to Apcera. Prior to his role with Apcera, Mark served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Apptio, a leading provider of on-demand Technology Business Management solutions, and he spent eight years at TIBCO Software in direct sales and sales management, contributing significantly to TIBCO’s rapid growth. Mark has also held senior management roles at several high growth companies including Endeca (acquired by Oracle). Mark currently serves on the advisory boards of Drumbi, Simply Share and previously Zuora.
