Martinez, California (PRWEB) March 09, 2013
The organizers of "555 Days of Prayer to Save America" are announcing the next phase of the 555 day long prayer initiative.
March 10, 2013 will start 50 days of thanksgiving prayers to God. During this fifty day period, which will end on April 28, 2013, all Christians, including Catholic and Orhodox; as well as Messianic Jews, are asked to take the opportunity to participate by giving thanks to God. While the direct focus of the thanks will be for salvation, love, forgiveness and mercy, participants are encouraged to thank God for all He has done.
This is a Washington Monument sized prayer event. But, organizers, citing current events, insist the effort is necessary and required. "We are embarking on a construction project: a mission to build a towering monument of prayer, 555 days tall," said Robert Berry, CEO of Save America Gathering.
The 50 days of thanksgiving will be followed by 100 days of prayers of confession, and for mercy and forgiveness of Christians personal sins and shortcomings, running from April 29, 2013 through August 6, 2013.
100 days of prayer for the Church's sins and shortcomings will be next, running from August 7, 2013 to November 14, 2013. This will be followed by 100 day prayer for forgiveness of the United States of America, from November 15, 2013 to February 12, 2014, and 100 days of prayer for the purification and restoration of our people, His Church, from February13, 2014 to June 2, 2014. The final 100 days of prayer will be for the healing and restoration of our land, the United States of America, from June 3, 2014 to September 11, 2014.
On September 11, 2014, the organizers look to follow God for direction as to how or where to gather together to close our prayer for the land. "Second Chronicles, the seventh chapter and the 14th verse states: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land," We are acting in total belief in God's word!" said Robert Berry.
