Harmony Collections, owned by Manessa Quillin of Grand Junction, Colorado has just signed a 10 year exclusive contract with the Chinese Manufacturer, Taixing Tian Yin Musical Instruments Co., Ltd., to produce a line of high quality line crystal/acrylic string instruments and hand painted string instruments which will make a homerun for this young company with retailers across the United States.

Local Grand Junction, CO woman, Manessa Quillin, hits another home run by signing 10 year exclusive contract with Chinese manufacturing company. Harmony Collections, owned by Manessa Quillin of Grand Junction, Colorado has just signed a 10 year exclusive contract with the Chinese Manufacturer, Taixing Tian Yin Musical Instruments Co., Ltd., to produce a line of high quality crystal/acrylic string instruments and hand painted string instruments which will make a homerun for this young company with retailers across the United States. The instruments are designed with the youth in mind, geared towards young students to advanced students.

Many music departments are suffering because youth are not willing to play traditional string instruments. Music programs used to flourish, but now many programs are closing for lack of participation and funding. Therefore, Taixing Tian Yin Musical Instruments Co., Ltd., Harmony Collections, Inc. and Manessa’s World of Music, LLC are collaborating in an effort to make playing string instruments more fun for kids.

Contemporary string players, Lewis Flores, Black Violins and David Garrett are coming into the limelight of contemporary/classical music. Lewis Flores arranged “Cry Me a River” by Justin Timberlake into a beautiful, contemporary song for the violin and is among many contemporary/classical string players which also jumping to the forefront like David Garrett and Black Violins. According to Manessa, “I just want kids to know that playing string instruments can be fun and cool so I want to make them look cool too which is why I’m running a ‘Design the Violins’ contest.

”The “Design the Violins” Contest is for anybody who wants to design their dream violin and send a copy to admin(at)manessasworldofmusic(dot)com. Once all submissions have been received by April 30th, 2013, then Manessa will post the best of the coolest and prettiest on HarmonyCollections.us for others to vote on. The winner will receive the first violin in their design off the line and have the instrument named after them. The second and third place winners will also receive the instruments they designed, but “I reserve the right to name those instruments though,” Manessa says with a chuckle.

With the 10 year contract in place, the wheels are now in motion to make a huge impact on the music industry for kids, teens and anybody who would like to play something other than traditional instruments. Crystal instruments with acrylic fittings and quality hand painted instruments, instruments made by luthiers, cases made by manufacturers in Croatia and France that are beautiful to look at, cases made to match the wonderful, colorful new instruments being produced…all designed with the idea of making the learning of a string instrument more pleasurable for everyone.
