Morgan Hill, California (PRWEB) March 18, 2013
Velodyne Acoustics, a leading manufacturer of high-performance, low distortion subwoofers and headphones, has announced the expansion of its Artist Alliance Series. The program began last year with Velodyne’s collaboration with the Anno Domini Art Gallery, which is located in San Jose and features exhibitions by renowned international and local artists, as well as up-and-comers in the art world. To help raise money for the gallery, hand-selected artists painted on donated Velodyne subwoofers, which were later sold at the City of San Jose Arts Event “Sub Zero” last May.
Since then, Velodyne continues to collaborate with the Anno Domini Art Gallery, creating subwoofer art that has been auctioned off to raise funds and awareness for the arts throughout the county. Most notably these events have included VH1’s Save The Music Foundation and the Remove the Ego dance and music event in Atlanta. Upcoming works will be on display at the 2013 PULSE Contemporary Art Fairs at the Metropolitan Pavilion tin May.
“Velodyne is passionate about the promotion of the arts,” says Marta Hall, President of Velodyne Acoustics. “We look forward to continuing to work with artists who help bring inspiration to our audio products.” These products include Velodyne’s new headphone line, including the vPulse, the vTrue and the vFree, all of which combine artistic style with audio innovation.
