Internet Startup Company Brownie Wise LLC, owner of The Prison Press, a DBA of The Social Slammer, received an outstanding and meritorious response within its first week of functional operations. Brownie Wise LLC reported making over 18,000 connections between it’s two major portals in that of ThePrisonPress.com and Facebook.com/ILoveSomeoneInPrison.
Of the numerous responses received, Brownie Wise claimed the most positive testimonial came from Nadia Comanechi Johnson. Nadia Comanechi Johnson is the editor of Never Forgotten, a newsletter that is sent to the corrections facility of incarcerated individuals across the country. The newsletter features a variety of jokes, commendations, recipes, birthday shout outs and bible scriptures.
When The Prison Press launched last week, Nadia Comanechi Johnson expressed her interest in the new service by purchasing a subscription. After a complete review of the The Prison Press capabilities, Nadia decided to purchase a separate subscription for her son. Nadia believed that The Prison Press would allow her son to create a continued relationship with his father.
The Prison Press makes it possible for Nadia’s son to construct messages directed to his father with the same amount of ease as it would take to post on social media or instant message a friend online. Nadia will no longer have to remind her son to make time in his schedule in order to hand write a letter to his father. The Prison Press also allows Nadia to automate the mailing process by relieving her of the hassle stuffing envelopes, licking stamps, or completing arduous journeys to the post office.
Within Nadia’s testimonial she states, “The Prison Press helped my son and his Dad build a better communication that was well needed. My son, being a normal teenager, is very much into his daily social media life, and to sit down at the end of the day and write his Dad a letter was beginning to become challenging for him. The Prison Press allowed my son to have his own Daddy and Me page so he can talk to his Dad daily on his Facebook Page, which he is normally on every day. This is so awesome!”
When we caught up with Jason Draizin, the owner of The Prison Press, and asked about this new relationship with Nadia, he responded “We are delighted to have Nadia in our community. We had always intended to offer this service to the mass public, but could not be happier that we are able to help another industry expert in the operating in the prison niche."
When asked of what we can expect out of The Prison Press, Draizin replied “These connections will ultimately remind our inmates the importance of making the most of their time at a correctional facility and make sure that they behave to their best ability in order to hopefully make an early parole and become reconnected with their family sooner. To provide additional support we plan to create a resource section within theprisonpress.com with helpful articles, links, advice, and a community forum where loved ones of inmates can provide support for one another.
There is also an up and coming “pen pal” section in which inmates can be added to that will present consumers with the advantage and opportunity to sponsor the inmates with a discounted rate of subscription. Along with this discounted rate they will provide their new pen pal with their very own customized issue of The Prison Press. Currently, The Prison Press is looking into other partnerships and further collaborating with other like-minded entrepreneurs to become providers to the prison system.”
