United Nations, Air France and Chevrolet, to name a just few have recently trusted the Canadian leader in custom t-shirts for their promotional campaigns and corporate clothing. Last week, Wordans completed a large contract for Moment Factory, a leading company in the entertainment market. Wordans' top management justifies the gain in trust by their price structure and by their turnaround time and worldwide presence. ''We are one of the only company in the market of custom apparel that can accommodate either an individual looking for one t-shirt or a company looking for a rather larger order, all at the best price. Our quantity discounts makes our pricing very competitive for any type of orders'' says Eric Gautier, CEO and founder of Wordans.
The company pretends to revisit the purchasing process for custom t-shirts to give it an online twist. Wordans aims to completely reinvent the market of printed t-shirts to move it from traditional screen printers to a new online structure where the process is centralized and performed all at the same place and time. ''Before, to get corporate t-shirt, one had to find a t-shirt supplier, order the shirts, find a screen printer, bring the shirts to the printer and get them back. This process included a lot of overlap and hidden cost. With Wordans, we take care of to whole process; we supply the t-shirt, take care of the artwork creation, print the shirt and ship it.' This new strategy seems to be successful so far as the t-shirt printer witnessed an increase of corporate orders whether they are from SME's or large companies.
