Your Teen Magazine for Parents today launched its Your Teen Mom of the Year writing contest that includes a top prize valued at $500 for one of the teenagers who writes a short story about why he or she loves their mom.
To participate, sons and daughters must convey the quirky side of their moms in less than 300 words. They need to share great stories about quirks that make their moms so special and lovable.

Teens who enter the contest will be eligible to win one prize package with two gift cards – a $100 gift card for a teenage son or daughter and a $400 gift card for the mother. The essay will be published at http://www.yourteenmag.com.
“The contest is a great opportunity for teenagers to give their moms the honor and attention they deserve,” Editor in Chief/Publisher Susan Borison says. “The contest celebrates families and the special love teenage sons and daughters have for their moms – even when those moms do some things that make their eyes roll.”
