SOUTHPORT, Connecticut (PRWEB) March 17, 2013
Connecticut’s premier residential real estate firm, William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty, has announced the grand opening of its new Southport/Fairfield office located at 250 Pequot Avenue in Southport.
The new office joins two of the firm’s preexisting smaller offices in one facility, fully outfitted with all-new systems and equipment. The agents from those offices, one on the Post Road in Fairfield and the other on Pequot Avenue in Southport, will now work together out of the Southport Village location.
“I was searching for the perfect place to merge the two offices into one large regional location,” said Brad Kimmelman, brokerage manager for William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s new Southport/Fairfield brokerage. “When we found this beautiful, dignified, brick building in the heart of Southport Village, we knew we were home.”
Since his appointment as head of the firm’s Fairfield and Southport locations in June 2011, Mr. Kimmelman has led his combined team of nearly 60 agents to unprecedented increases in sales volume during a time when the market has been improving only incrementally.
“When Brad came to me with the plan to merge the two offices, all indicators pointed in the direction of success,” said Paul Breunich, President and CEO of William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty. “Bringing this sales force together under one roof made sense on many levels, concluding in greater efficiency of both leadership and operations.”
“All of my exceptional agents have always felt that they are part of the same work family,” Mr. Kimmelman said. “It only makes sense to merge the two locations so that my entire team can work together in one brand new, state-of-the-art facility. We are thrilled with how the office turned out. The sophisticated design has a clean look that will truly appeal to the clients of our luxury, global brand.”
The stately brick building in the heart of Southport Village is shared with The Connecticut Challenge - Center for Survivorship, an organization that gives support, education and empowerment to cancer survivors. The organization opened its new facility just last October on the lower level.
“We are certain that this move will allow us to serve our Southport and Fairfield communities with the professionalism and style they have come to expect from us as we continue to expand in these very important markets,” Mr. Breunich said.
