It's no longer necessary to live in South Florida to enjoy tasty, convenient meals from Eat Well Foods. Customers anywhere within the contiguous United States can order healthy, made-from-scratch meals packed with dry ice in insulated containers.

"We've had requests coming in from all over the country to send our meals to customers who live outside of our delivery area," says Mark Lew, owner/chef at Eat Well Foods. "This is definitely one good example of the customer being right, so we found a way to make it happen."

In consideration of the additional expense associated with shipping, Eat Well Foods will absorb the cost of the dry ice and $4.50 additional handling fee. As a special promotion for first time customers, Eat Well Foods will also include a free container, through May 1, 2013. After that, the price of the container and the cost of FedEx shipping is all the customer pays. Each container can hold up to 14 regular meals or 10 large meals.

"We're very excited about extending our business like this," Mark says. "We're reaching beyond our former boundaries to a nearly limitless market."

Every Eat Well Foods meal meets the standards for healthy eating as designated by the American Heart Association. Everything on the menu is diabetic-friendly, low in sodium, and wheat-free. Completely gluten-free choices are available, with only a small restriction of menu selections.

"People from athletes to busy professionals are taking advantage of the convenience our meal delivery offers," Mark says. "Forget greasy, salty fast food. We're like home cooking, but even healthier and more convenient."
