Caserta Concepts, a consulting and technology services firm specializing in data warehousing, business intelligence and big data analytics, today announced that President and CEO Joe Caserta has been invited to present “Agile Data Warehouse Design and ETL,” a training course at University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) from April 8-11, 2013.
A veteran solution provider and co-author of the industry best seller “The Data Warehouse ETL Toolkit,” Caserta will be joined by Lawrence Corr, an experienced data warehouse architect and co-author of “Agile Data Warehouse Design.”
The four-day training course, consisting of two days of agile data warehousing design, followed by two days of advanced techniques in ETL, is a joint effort promoted by ISCTE-IUL -- particularly its Master in Integrated Systems for Decision Support – and Novabase, SAS Institute Portugal and Passio.
“This course constitutes a unique opportunity to learn and exchange ideas in a friendly but intense environment using real-life examples to illustrate how firms benefit from enhancing the accessibility of their enterprise data,” said Caserta. “We’ll be providing an in-depth look at the latest agile techniques for designing and managing dimensional data warehouses and ETL processes. From beginner to experienced data warehouse practitioners, data architects, ETL designers and developers – everyone will learn something from this course.”
