PrestoBox, an online software startup and the world’s first automated branding agency, is proud to announce its selection into the Portland Seed Fund,a publicly backed startup investment fund. PrestoBox is part of the fourth class of the original $3 million fund and is the fund’s first investment with women in both of the lead co-founder roles.
“We look forward to partnering with the Portland Seed Fund,” commented Elicia Putnam, CEO of PrestoBox. “We will immediately accelerate development of our core products to create logos, business cards, and websites for small businesses at really affordable prices. The cash investment combined with the mentoring, network and peer support will be a great catalyst for PrestoBox.”
The seed fund looked at between 250 and 300 companies for this class. This is the last class in the seed fund's original $3 million fund, which has collectively attracted $20 million in additional backing.
“PrestoBox is a strong addition to our investment portfolio. And we’re thrilled that it is a female-driven company,” said Portland Seed Fund Managing Director, Angela Jackson.
