Hot on the heels of a successful holiday season, e-retailer WineFlash is looking to turn the world of online wine shopping on its ear. Today, Proprietor Michael Wade announced that the company has retained New Jersey-based digital agency Local Wisdom to spearhead the re-design and launch of its new website. The announcement marks a milestone in the brief life span of WineFlash as it transitions from a “one-wine daily deal” site to a full-fledged online beverage store offering a diverse menu of buying opportunities.
The new WineFlash/Local Wisdom project team sets its primary goal as the creation of an e-commerce site that will transform the online experience for wine enthusiasts. According to Wade, “The Local Wisdom team is uniquely qualified to create a new web presence for WineFlash because they possess an extraordinary knack for weaving cutting-edge technology with appealing design. We looked at a lot of companies, but in the end, we thought that Local Wisdom was so far ahead of the field.”
With a client list that reads like a “Who’s Who” of business including the likes of Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Purdue Pharmaceuticals, Local Wisdom is no stranger to ambitious, ground-breaking assignments. Local Wisdom Managing Partner Pinaki Kathiari regards the WineFlash project as an opportunity for his company to try its creative hand in a new industry. “Our forte is in working with large Fortune companies so when the opportunity arose to work with a new, smaller venture company, like Wine Flash, we couldn’t wait to get started. This project allows us to flex our creative abilities while building a digital ecosystem with the refinement and quality we would provide a bigger business.”
WineFlash is an online wine retail site that currently offers one highly-rated wine each day at the best price on the internet. Owner Michael Wade is a New Jersey lawyer and successful entrepreneur.
